Tallgrass Theatre Festival presents Beyond the Tomb a one woman performance of life in post-Civil War New Orleans and a creole woman named “May”. Beyond the Tomb is about love and living, passions and strength of character with the joys and pains of life in the colorful culture of the Creole and their times.
Being buried in New Orleans’ oldest and most famous of cemeterys, Ann Knight brings her grandmamma “May” to life again with masterful character acting in tales and compelling stories that could only come from Beyond the Tomb. The occasion has Aunt Pearl serving up her incredible Creole Red Beans and Rice recipe from New Orleans, made the way they like it to taste. Don’t miss this very special one performance!
Admission is by donations at the door or buying a reserved ticket for 10.00 online. This is a Theater Bartlesville fundraiser
